Two students from the English Education program at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FTIK), IAIN Manado, participated as presenters in an international seminar organized by Universitas Muhammadiyah Gorontalo. The seminar, titled “Multidisciplinary Approaches to Sustainable Lake Management: Community and Policymaker Engagement,” took place on June 12, 2025, and was held in a hybrid format, allowing both onsite and virtual participation.

The event brought together experts, academics, and students from various disciplines to discuss sustainable strategies for lake management, emphasizing the importance of collaboration between communities and policymakers. Adrian Lovonita and Fathimah Muntia, as representatives of the English Education study program, contributed to the seminar by presenting their educational research articles.

Their successful participation in this international seminar is a proud moment for the English Education study program at IAIN Manado. Mrs. Nurhalimah, M.Hum, the Head of the English Education Program, expressed her admiration for the students’ dedication and their ability to represent the faculty on such a prestigious platform.

Dr. Arhanuddin Salim, M.Pd.I, Dean of FTIK, also praised the students’ achievements. He stated that this experience not only enriches the students’ academic growth but also strengthens the faculty’s commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration and community involvement.

The seminar marks an important milestone for both the students and the faculty, showcasing their active participation in global academic discussions.
