IAIN Manado, Saturday 09 October 2021. HMPS TBI was again carrying out “English Area” activities. This time was opened by Nofikasari Gobel as the moderator. The series of activities that took place yesterday was quite interesting, because it began with the presentation of material about “Critical Thinking” which was brought directly by a third semester TBI student, Silfana Pakaya. In this section, the presenters also gave many opportunities to ask the participants who came yesterday. The participantsn were non other than 1st and 3rd semester students and several HMPS administrators. The participants were very enthusiastic in asking questions about the material.

Then the activity continued with a discussion and debate. In this discussion, the participants were divided into 4 groups where each 2 groups were given a different topic to discuss. This discussion aimed to train students’ critical thinking skills and thus participants can practice the material discussed yesterday. Furthermore, the activity was closed by filling out the attendance list and a group photo session.
