MAKASSAR, July 18, 2026<\/strong> \u2014 Lecturers from the English Education Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FTIK), Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Manado, participated in the ELITE Annual Meeting held at Universitas Negeri Makassar on July 17\u201318, 2026.<\/p>

The delegation included lecturers of the English Education Study Program, as well as the Head and Secretary of the Study Program. The annual meeting took place at the iconic Pinisi Building of Universitas Negeri Makassar and brought together academics, lecturers, study programme leaders, and representatives of English language education institutions from various universities.<\/p>

The participation of the IAIN Manado delegation demonstrated the study programme\u2019s commitment to strengthening academic cooperation and professional networks in the field of English language teaching and education. The meeting also provided an important forum for participants to exchange ideas, share institutional experiences, and discuss current developments and challenges in English language education.<\/p>

Throughout the two-day event, participants engaged in academic discussions and collaborative sessions focusing on the development of English education programmes, curriculum improvement, teaching innovation, research collaboration, and the enhancement of graduate competencies.<\/p>

The presence of the Head and Secretary of the English Education Study Program was also expected to support the programme\u2019s institutional development. Insights and recommendations gained from the meeting may serve as valuable references for improving academic quality, strengthening curriculum implementation, and expanding cooperation with other English education study programmes.<\/p>

In addition to attending the formal sessions, the IAIN Manado lecturers had opportunities to establish communication with fellow academics and institutional representatives. Such interactions are expected to lead to future collaboration in research, academic publications, seminars, student activities, and other educational programmes.<\/p>

Through its participation in the ELITE Annual Meeting, the English Education Study Program of FTIK IAIN Manado reaffirmed its commitment to actively contributing to professional academic associations and continuously improving the quality of English language education.<\/p>
