Manado, July 15, 2025<\/em>\u00a0\u2014 The English Education Study Program (Tadris Bahasa Inggris) of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training (FTIK) at IAIN Manado partnered with the national television station TVRI in a special public outreach program held today. The program aimed to promote student admissions for the 2025 academic year, while also introducing the department\u2019s updated vision, mission, goals, and strategic directions.<\/p>

The televised event, broadcast from the TVRI North Sulawesi studio, featured representatives from the English Education Study Program along with Dr. Adri, the Vice Dean I of FTIK, who accompanied the team and offered remarks highlighting the academic strengths of the faculty and the unique offerings of the English Education Program.<\/p>

During the segment, the Vice Dean I, Dr. Adri, explained the department\u2019s commitment to producing competent and professional English educators who uphold Islamic values and are equipped to compete at both national and global levels.<\/p>

\u201cOur vision is to become a leading center for English teacher education that integrates language expertise, pedagogical skills, and Islamic character,\u201d said Dr. Adri. \u201cThrough this collaboration with TVRI, we hope to reach a broader audience and encourage prospective students across North Sulawesi and beyond to consider IAIN Manado as their academic home.\u201d<\/p>

The broadcast also showcased the department\u2019s strategic goals, which include curriculum development based on the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) framework, international collaboration, research and innovation in ELT (English Language Teaching), and active student involvement in community service.<\/p>

Vice Dean I of FTIK, Dr. Adri, praised the initiative as a proactive step in academic branding and public engagement. \u201cThis kind of media collaboration is crucial in today\u2019s competitive higher education landscape. It allows us to communicate our values and academic excellence to a wider audience,\u201d he noted.<\/p>

The outreach program concluded with a call to action for high school graduates, especially those passionate about language and education, to register and join the English Education Study Program at IAIN Manado.<\/p>
