Manado, September 11, 2024<\/strong>\u00a0\u2014 On September 11, 2024, the English Education Study Program Students at IAIN Manado hosted a workshop aimed at equipping students with essential skills for creating effective research papers and PowerPoint presentations. The event was well-attended, drawing students eager to enhance their academic abilities.<\/p>

The workshop commenced with a comprehensive session on writing research papers, led by Abdillah Adiputra and Adrian Lovonita, a coordinator and co-coordinator in the field of SND English education. They emphasized the importance of choosing a relevant topic, conducting thorough literature reviews, and structuring papers logically. \u201cA strong thesis statement is the backbone of your research paper,\u201d Adrian stated, encouraging students to focus on clarity and coherence in their writing.<\/p>

Following the writing session, the focus shifted to developing impactful PowerPoint presentations. Abdillah and Adrian, a skilled multimedia educator, guided students through the essential elements of effective slide design. They shared practical tips, such as using bullet points for clarity, incorporating visuals to enhance understanding, and maintaining consistent formatting throughout the presentation. \u201cRemember, less is more,\u201d Mr. Adrian advised, urging students to avoid clutter and keep their slides engaging.<\/p>
