IAIN Manado – Friday, 09/04/2021, the HMPS Students organization of FTIK IAIN Manado jointly held a Call for Humanitarian Action, a fundraising activity for victims of natural disasters that happened in West Nusa Tenggara and East Nusa Tenggara.

This event was initiated by all IAIN Manado Student Organizations, including English Education Students Association (HMPS Tadris Bahasa Inggris/English Education Study Program). In this case, five students of TBI took their part as volunteers with other teams..

Having finished doing the Friday prayer, the teams were affiliated and sent to the Port of Manado to raise funds for about 2 hours. Then, they moved to Taman Kesatuan Bangsa. Exactly at 5 PM, all teams gathered to evaluate the results obtained and considered whether to continue the movement or not.

The whole team was safe and there was no riot during the fundraising activity. As a result, the funds collected were Rp. 7. 218. 000 -, and will soon be distributed to natural disaster victims in NTT and NTB. (NG)
